Hyundai has launched the IONIQ 5, the first electric vehicle in the range to use Hyundai's E-GMP platform.

The E-GMP ensures a long wheelbase, helping to maximize interior space. The innovative, environmentally friendly materials used, outstanding performance, ultra-fast charging system, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function and connectivity features support the driver to harmonize perfectly with the car.

The new Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric SUV has 2 kinds of batteries and 2 electric motors; they can give a range of about 480 km with a single charge. Ioniq 5 comes to self-charging, the 800v battery manages to recover 100 km in just 5 minutes when a 350kW charger is used, and in 18 minutes the battery jumps from 10% to 80%.

IONIQ 5 is equipped with electrically adjustable front seats. The front seats can move almost vertically, while being about 30% thinner than Hyundai models, giving more space to the rear passengers. The surfaces in the passenger compartment are covered with textile material made of sustainable fibres.

The new Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric crossover with a single motor and 58kWh battery produces 170 hp while with 2 motors it can reach 235 hp. The IONIQ 5 Long Range version equipped with a single engine and 72.6kWh battery can produce 218 hp and dual-engine 306 hp.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a car that guarantees quite a few things for families who want good autonomy and low charging time while having space inside and functions as intelligent as possible.
